Calling teen talent

Singers! Jugglers! Instrumentalists! Comedians! Magicians! Dancers!

You fabulous performers who also happen to be teens are invited to audition for the third annual United Teens Talent Show. The show itself will happen at the Civic Theatre in Kalamazoo on August 11. Prizes range up to $500 and include professional coaching or the opportunity to make a professional demo recording.

Please hurry--auditions are happening soon, beginning on Monday, June 11 at our own Richland Area Community Center, 9400 East CD Avenue. Auditions begin at 4 p.m. and are first-come, first-auditioned. Audition forms, alternative audition times and places, and more info are available at kalamazooteentalent.com, or call 269-384-0838 for information. You may audition only once.

Callbacks will happen June 23, and the cast list will be posted on June 28. Coaching starts July 20, rehearsals begin July 30, and the show itself, directed by Ben Zylman, will go on at 7 p.m. August 11.

The show is supported by the Irving S. Gilmore Foundation and the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo.

Hope to see a great representation from our talented Gull Lake students!
